IN THE DIGITAL AGE

If you are like me, you spend more time interacting with high school and college friends via Facebook than via any other mode. LinkedIn too, has become a key networking and information exchange forum, particularly for professional relationships. I now have colleagues with whom I interact almost exclusively via LinkedIn. Social networking allows for relationships and interactions well beyond what you can accomplish with telephone or face-to-face interactions; it flattens time and space to a great extent.
